Frontend Developer (React / Next.js)

We are looking for a Junior Frontend Developer to build modern, high-performance user interfaces using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and modern frontend tooling. You will work closely with designers and backend engineers to ship scalable features, improve Core Web Vitals, and build reusable UI components.

What you'll do

  • Build responsive and pixel-perfect UI screens using React and Next.js (App Router preferred)
  • Develop reusable components with Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, or Chakra UI to improve development speed and consistency
  • Implement efficient state management using Redux / Zustand and caching with RTK Query or TanStack Query
  • Work on real-time UI experiences using WebSockets (chat, notifications, live updates)
  • Optimize performance using lazy loading, code splitting, memoization, and caching techniques
  • Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility (mobile-first approach)
  • Integrate analytics and event tracking (PostHog / Google Analytics) to understand user behavior
  • Write clean, maintainable code with good folder structure and best practices
  • Collaborate with backend developers to consume REST APIs / WebSocket events smoothly
  • Participate in code reviews and learn engineering best practices

What we're looking for

  • 0-2 years of frontend development experience or strong project-based experience
  • Strong understanding of React fundamentals (hooks, component lifecycle, rendering, performance)
  • Hands-on experience with Next.js and TypeScript
  • Good knowledge of modern state management (Redux Toolkit, Zustand)
  • Experience with modern UI tooling: Tailwind CSS + shadcn/ui / Chakra UI / Fluent UI
  • Familiarity with API integration (REST APIs) and basic async patterns
  • Understanding of performance concepts like Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP)
  • Familiarity with Git workflows and collaboration (GitHub / Bitbucket)
  • Bonus: Experience with WebSockets, TanStack Query/Table, Docker, CI/CD
